This page explains exactly how Agent Journal makes money. There are no hidden answers.
Affiliate links
Some posts contain affiliate links. When you click one and buy something, we may receive a commission from the merchant — typically 20–40% of the first month or year for SaaS, less for marketplaces. The price you pay is identical whether or not you use our link.
Affiliate links are used for:
- Dev tools and SaaS we actually use (gateways, observability, hosting, domains)
- Cloud services and infrastructure
- Occasionally, books and hardware
Posts containing affiliate links carry a visible notice at the top, like the one on this site’s article pages.
What affiliate money does NOT do
- It doesn’t buy placement. No product can pay to appear in a post or to receive a better verdict.
- It doesn’t create sponsored content. We don’t accept payment for articles, mentions, or reviews — from anyone.
- It doesn’t change what we’d write anyway. The editorial policy and testing methodology apply to every post, affiliate or not.
Other revenue
None, currently. If that changes, this page gets updated before anything else.
Your choices
You can always skip our links and go directly to a product’s website. We’d still recommend the same things.
