This page explains exactly how Agent Journal makes money. There are no hidden answers.

Some posts contain affiliate links. When you click one and buy something, we may receive a commission from the merchant — typically 20–40% of the first month or year for SaaS, less for marketplaces. The price you pay is identical whether or not you use our link.

Affiliate links are used for:

  • Dev tools and SaaS we actually use (gateways, observability, hosting, domains)
  • Cloud services and infrastructure
  • Occasionally, books and hardware

Posts containing affiliate links carry a visible notice at the top, like the one on this site’s article pages.

What affiliate money does NOT do

  • It doesn’t buy placement. No product can pay to appear in a post or to receive a better verdict.
  • It doesn’t create sponsored content. We don’t accept payment for articles, mentions, or reviews — from anyone.
  • It doesn’t change what we’d write anyway. The editorial policy and testing methodology apply to every post, affiliate or not.

You can always skip our links and go directly to a product’s website. We’d still recommend the same things.
