Editorial Policy

Short version: everything here is tested by me, in production, before I write about it. No sponsored posts. Affiliate links never change a verdict.

What we write about

• Running AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, opencode, Hermes) in real workflows
• MCP servers, agent tooling, credential management, and LLM gateways
• The ops side: automation, self-hosting, monitoring, cost control

We don’t cover tools we haven’t used. If a post mentions a product we have no hands-on experience with, it’s marked as such.

What we don’t do

• No sponsored posts. Nobody can pay to appear here. Ever.
• No “best of” listicles assembled from spec sheets. If we haven’t run it, we don’t rank it.
• No affiliate-first content. We don’t create articles around “what pays best.” We write what we’d want to read, and monetize it honestly.

Affiliate relationships

Some links in posts are affiliate links. When you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This is disclosed on every post that contains affiliate links and in our disclosure.

The rule is simple: a product never gets a better review because it pays more. We’ll happily recommend a tool with no affiliate program, and we’ll happily criticize one that has one.

Updates

Tools change fast. Posts carry a date, and we update them when a recommendation is no longer accurate — not on a schedule, but when the facts change. An updated post keeps its original date and gains a note at the top.

Corrections

Found an error? Open an issue on GitHub or contact us — factual mistakes get fixed and acknowledged.
